Insanejournal decided to be annoying and claim my posts had more characters than they actually had so this is ended up split differently than I intended. It was originally in three parts, not six. The chapters are no longer even lengths since I decided to cut the new chapters based on scene groups, not numbers.
I wrote enough of an author’s note that I made a separate post for because it ended up being rather long. Be aware that it contains spoilers for the story as it includes explanations for some of my choices.
This is set post-movie for the Losers and in approximately the fifth season of the Highlander series. Further setting notes can be found in the separate author’s note post. Quote is from an old English song called Bedlam Boys.
